I would like to share with you this most advanced level of Fine Art Giclée Printmaking & Digital Imaging and I encourage you to come visit our Studio to discover it.
The first step and the most important part of the process is to get a high resolution scan of the Artwork.
Taking all necessary precautions, we setup your Artwork with the ultimate optical alignment system Zig-align to get the best parallelism.
We use the top of line Super8K-HS digital scanning back and ViewFinder™ Software from Better Light, the leading designer and manufacturer of large-format digital camera backs.
And we make sure to have the perfect lightning for your artwork with the 900 watts North Light HID Copy Light System.
For the next step, we use the Direct Spectral Method to give us a final corrected and profiled artwork file.
We measure, analyze and store visible spectra (with the program SpectraShop™ from Robin Myers Imaging) combined with the X-Rite i1.
The file is opened in a color-managed image editing application (highest development ColorSage™ powered by HP Artist software, Direct Spectral™ Workflow For Fine Art Reproduction) for color correction, finishing, and ...
did I mention that step one is the most important part...
yes it is, but not without the state of the art printer we use to give you the Fine Art Giclée print you are waiting for.
The printing is processed on our fantastic Large Format HP DesignJet Z3200 44-inch Photo Printer using 12 color HP Vivera high-stability pigmented inks including the new Chromatic Red ink that expands the color gamut.
Testing by Wilhelm Research (www.wilhelm-research.com) estimates that the inks will resist fading and color shift for 250 years or more on many different media.
